Barcelona Trip 2025

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
Barcelona 2025
We are planning an exciting trip for Year 10 students (current Year 9) for 4 days and three nights to Barcelona. This will take place next year at the end of June / beginning of July 2025. Exact dates will be confirmed once we know the number of students wanting to participate in the trip.
The proposed itinerary will include:
- Return flights from Birmingham to Barcelona
- Visit to La Sagrada Familia
- Visit to Las Ramblas shopping area
- Visit to Barcelona aquarium
- Visit to Parc Guell
- Visit to Olympic stadium and museum
- Visit to El Fantasia water park
- Other possible visits may include to a beach
Accommodation will be in a three-star hostel, exact details of which will be shared later once we have confirmed numbers. The maximum cost for the trip will be £750. This will include flights, accommodation, insurance and access to attractions, breakfast and evening meals.
In order to secure a place on this trip an initial deposit of £100 is required to be made via ParentPay by 16th July 2024. Depending on the uptake of the trip we may have to limit numbers so we will operate a ballot system and a waiting list if this is required. Further payment plans and schedules for the remaining cost will be also be available on Parent Pay.
If your child receives Pupil Premium you may be able to receive some assistance with the cost of the trip. Please contact the finance office finance@kingstoneacademy.co.uk with any queries.
Please be aware all students will require passports with at least an expiry date of November 2025. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about the trip.
